Fuller lips are an indication of youth and beauty. As we grow older the lips become thinner and longer, and fine vertical lines appear - making lipstick bleed. Fortunately, there are various techniques available to help improve this situation, and Dr. Harvey and Dr. Hardy can elaborate on them to assist you in your selection.
      
Long Lasting Solutions:
      • Restylane or Juvederm™- is made of hyaluronic acid, another ground substance in the skin. The acid is cross-linked so that when it is placed in the skin it will have a longer lasting result. While Restylane™ will last longer than Bovine Collagen, some patients have reported intermittent lip swelling while the Restylane™ is in place.  


     • Fat Transplantation or Lipotransfer- a process in which fat cells are drawn from another area of your body and injected into your lips. Your body will retain about 10-20% of the fat permanently. It usually requires several treatments for best results.
